Christin Weniger

Expert in the field of radiation protection

Christin Weniger has a degree in chemical engineering (M.Sc.) and is our expert in radiation protection, ventilation technology and fire protection in nuclear facilities.

She began her professional career at TÜV SÜD Energietechnik GmbH Baden-Württemberg as an authorized expert in ventilation technology and fire protection in nuclear facilities. Among other things, Ms Weniger was involved in assessing the decommissioning and dismantling licence for the Philippsburg nuclear power plant, the construction of the Philippsburg residue management centre and on-site waste storage facility, and D&D projects at various research facilities.

Since June 2020, Christin Weniger has been working for us as deputy head of the radiation protection sub-division at the Stade nuclear power plant. In this role, she is responsible for introducing and optimising radiation protection rules and principles in the ongoing D&D process. This also includes document maintenance and the preparation of technical instructions.

Thanks to her wide-ranging knowledge and skills, Ms Weniger is able to competently support D&D projects and coordinate the interests and competencies of the trades involved.
