For ENGIE at the Tihange site in Belgium, we carried out the dimensional survey, design, static calculation, manufacture and delivery of mobile shields for the booster pump area.
The task was to develop a mobile and at the same time highly effective radiation protection solution that can be used flexibly while meeting the high safety requirements in nuclear operations. The shields were precisely tailored to the local conditions and designed for regular use in plant operation – with a particular focus on stability, manageability and radiation protection efficiency.
The implementation was carried out on schedule and in close coordination with the customer.
