For Westinghouse at the Jülich site, we developed and manufactured a specialised shielding container for dismantling highly activated stainless steel drums.
The project focused on the safe handling of highly activated components and the effective protection of personnel from radiation exposure during dismantling work. The design of the container was tailored precisely to the requirements of the application scenario – taking into account the radiation protection, mechanical and handling specifications.
